State of React Native 2024

2024 was the year React Native's New Architecture became the standard, setting new benchmarks for cross-platform app development. With this evolution, React Native solidifies its position at the forefront of technology, showcasing enhanced maturity and an even more welcoming environment for developers. 2024 was a year of significant updates and improvements in the ecosystem, beyond the New Architecture. All the libraries' authors released many impactful updates, further stabilizing and reshaping parts of the ecosystem. We witnessed the further adoption of web-originated solutions, that draw on advances from the broader React world. This adoption is a clear sign of the blending of best practices across the React ecosystem and highlights a community that values consistency and efficiency across web and mobile development.
